The tree of life (also Yggdrasil) is an ancient symbol of many cultures.
It symbolizes growth and development, knowledge, fertility and immortality - it connects earth and sky. Its roots reach deep into the earth, while its tops "touch the sky". Down-to-earth but at the same time with the freedom for spiritual growth.
Our Tree of Life pendant also represents a person who has his feet deeply rooted and stretches joyfully upwards.
The inner part of the pendant is delicately matt silver and concave in shape to symbolize the security at the foot of a tree, while the polished outer ring provides the light necessary for inner growth. Through the eyelet on the back the pendant seems to float on the chain.
