Privacy Policy

Personal data are all data that allow a conclusion to be drawn about your actual identity, e.g. your name, your address, telephone numbers, your e-mail address, etc. On our website, personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail address) is only collected on a voluntary basis, e.g. by sending an e-mail or using a contact form. The use of the website with information, offers and services is always possible without providing personal data.

Our website does not store personal data, except for technical parameters declared as such (IP address, browser system, etc.), in anonymised form, see below.

When is what data stored?
Personal data is only collected and stored by us in the following cases:
if you ask us for information, for the purpose of answering your questions or preparing an offer if you place an order with us, for the purpose of order processing and invoicing. Generally, only the data necessary for the respective purpose is requested. Data is only stored for as long as is necessary. You can request information about the type and scope of the data stored about you at any time, as well as the deletion of the same, which, however, is not completely possible if we have invoiced you up to 10 years after the invoice date due to tax legislation.

Encryption
. When you place an order with us, your personal data is transmitted in encrypted form. As soon as you create a customer account or register with us, you will see a closed padlock symbol in your browser bar and the domain will begin with "https://".

No disclosure to third parties
As a matter of principle, we do not pass on any personal data to third parties (e.g. for advertising purposes). For orders that are shipped to you, the shipping service providers DHL or DPD may have access to your address data. In the case of very bulky deliveries, they may also have access to unspecified shipping companies, which we will inform you of prior to shipment upon request. You expressly agree to this by placing an order.

Data transmission
We hereby point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. at Internet account points, even with SSL encryption or when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Absolutely complete protection of data against appropriation by third parties is not possible.

Our website automatically stores general information in the background (i.e. without registration), which is not personal or used. The web servers used with their logs and statistics systems store (if transmitted by your system):

- your browser type/the version of the operating system used
- the page you visited before (referrer URL)
- the host name of the accessing computer (IP address, possibly anonymised)
- the time of your server request
- the website you called up
- the amount of data sent/received in bytes

This information is stored solely for the purpose of technical security of the website, administration and statistical evaluation of our website. It is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted regularly.

Our shop system may assign a so-called session ID to ensure the functionality of the shopping basket and order processing. This is only merged with your personal data in the event of registration or login to your previously created customer account. By deleting the browser cache (on your computer), the session ID is also deleted (in this case, however, your shopping basket cannot be saved any further, which is why it would be empty when you call it up again or in the next step, even if you had previously placed products in it.

Our shop system/website stores so-called cookies on your computer. These are needed to provide our services and the order process / login, and serve to identify you as a user. Your session ID, for example, is also stored in the cookie if our system has assigned such an ID. You can delete this later in the settings of your browser if you wish. (Each browser offers differently named menu items for this purpose: e.g. under "Settings" -> "Delete history and website data").

The personal data such as billing address/delivery address that you transmit to us as part of your order will be used exclusively for the purpose of order processing/order handling.

If you subscribe to our newsletter/regular newsletter, your data (email address) will be transmitted to an external provider, campaignmonitor.com and processed there. You can unsubscribe your email address at any time (and at the end of each newsletter). To protect you from misuse, we use a double-opt-in procedure which first sends you an e-mail with a confirmation link. Only after confirming this will you receive the regular newsletter.

We have not integrated any external code from facebook, or other similar providers on our pages, which could tap into your data. We cannot accept any responsibility for cookies from third-party providers (previously visited pages/social media platforms) that register your visit to our site.

We do not use google-analytics, in connection with our website.
If you come to us via google search, it may be that google has previously placed a so-called cookie on your computer. The IP address transmitted by your browser in this context will not be merged with other data from google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
